Service members assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) received the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) patch during a patching ceremony July 10, 2021, at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.
The combat patch distinguishes service members who have deployed to a combat zone, and is worn on the right shoulder, opposite the higher headquarters unit patch.
