A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker from the 101st Air Refueling Wing, Maine Air National Guard, conducted aerial refueling training with B-2 Spirits from the 509th Bomb Wing over Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, June 15, 2021. This type of hands-on training is beneficial for both the boom operator and the B-2 pilots, as this type of experience is rare, but necessary with the unique connection that the B-2 requires.
