Soldiers of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command kicked off the Army Birthday with an early morning run as part of Army Heritage Month on Fort Knox, Kentucky, June 14, 2021. Following the run the “First Team” conducted a Medal of Honor vehicle display dedication. The theme of the 246th Birthday Is “Honoring the Courage of the American Soldier.” The dedication concluded with an Army Birthday cake cutting. During the month of June Soldiers pause to thank and honor all those who have served in the U.S. Army, and who have served the nation, over the past 246 years.
