154th Civil Engineer Squadron Airmen doubled down on their monthly drill training this past week, turning their routine muster into a four-day mock deployment at Schofield Barracks.
This was part a larger exercise called Pacific Warriorz 2021 which included total force Airmen from the Air Force’s Reserve and Active-Duty Components, along with our Hawaii Air National Guard partners.
HIANG Airmen set up a functional base overnight and participated in all kinds of team-building exercises that would test their ability to operate in any given location.
This included patrol movements, self-aid and buddy care training, aeromedical evacuation procedures, structural maintenance and much more.
To keep the forces well-fed throughout their mock-deployment, members of the 154th Force Support Squadron’s Services Team set up their Disaster Readiness Mobile Kitchen Trailer, offering hot and freshly cooked meals each step of the way.
