Each year, millions of people are diagnosed and live with some form of mental illness. 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year and 1 in 20 U.S. adults experience a more serious form of mental condition. Our guard community is not exempt from those numbers. No matter what you’re experiencing, you're not alone. There are resources such as the Joint Services Support, Chaplains, and health care networks. We encourage you to take action to support yourself and those around you.
