The Station Fuels Department aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni receives the Naval Fuel Management Award, MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, May 7, 2021. The department was presented with the Naval Supply Systems Command award for excellence in Naval Fuel Management for their performance in continuously supplying fuel throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. They provided more than 11 million gallons of fuel to tenant aviation units within the past year ensuring the air station and tenant units remained mission ready.
