Historically, the annual Marine Corps Trials promotes recovery and rehabilitation through adaptive sport participation and develops camaraderie among recovering service members (RSMs) and veterans. It is as an opportunity for RSMs to demonstrate their achievements and serves as the primary venue to select Marine Corps participants for the DoD Warrior Games.
As part of the Warrior Athlete Reconditioning Program, the Trials promote rehabilitation for recovering service members, serve as an opportunity to cultivate camaraderie and the warrior ethos, and demonstrate the mental and physical achievements of service members. Additionally, participants may bid for selection to compete in the annual DoD Warrior Games.
