U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Ebenezer Anaigyei, a Sicklerville, New Jersey native and a pharmacist assigned to the Naval Medical Readiness and Training Center New England, prepares vaccines at the state-run, federally-supported St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cathedral COVID-19 Community Vaccination Center in Paterson, New Jersey, March 12, 2021. When a vaccination center had too many vacant slots for the day, Anaigyei spread the news to his church and quickly filled those spots to get community members vaccinated. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
