Lt. Col. Jermon Tillman, deputy director of Support Operations, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, joined the Army to follow in the footsteps of his family. Tillman is originally from Dallas, Texas, and plans to stay in the Army to add to his family’s rich tradition of military service.
African Americans contribute to the diverse culture of the Army’s fighting force. They play vital roles as Soldiers and Army civilians and are all critical members of our Army team.
