Leah Hammaker, an active-duty registered nurse assigned to the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command from Portsmouth, Va., speaks on her experiences working with Hendrick Health and doing her part to aide in the COVID-19 relief mission at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas, Feb. 8, 2021. This is Hammaker’s second COVID-19 relief mission, and is currently working as an emergency department nurse for Hendrick Medical Center.
