As part of a food service element, approximately 30 members of the D.C. National Guard ensure that 18,000 catered meals are unpacked, sorted, distributed and served to National Guard Soldiers and Airmen in Washington, D.C., Jan. 11, 2021. National Guard members from several states have traveled to the National Capital Region to provide support to federal and District authorities leading up to the 59th Presidential Inauguration.
