U.S. Marine Gunnery Sgt. Kyle Wetter, an infantry unit leader with Marine Crops Installations West, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, rescues a baby from a burning vehicle on Mission Road in Fallbrook, California, Dec. 7, 2020. Wetter was going East-bound when he came across a burning vehicle, as Wetter approached the vehicle, he saw the father and mother attempting to get their baby out of the back of the car, the baby was in a car seat and trapped by the seat belt, that is when Wetter climbed in the back of the car and pulled a knife out and cut the seatbelt, safely rescuing the baby.
