The 140th Wing participated in a large scale exercise with emphasis on their Agile Combat Employment, (ACE) utilizing Nellis AFB, NV, as a simulated remote location, to refuel and re-armed their F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, and returning to their home station, Buckley AFB, Colo. ACE is the ability is for a very small team to deploy to a remote airstrip and refuel and rearm it so it can get back into battle quickly and efficiently. Interviews by Lt. Col. Adam Chitwood, Det. 3 Agile Battle Laboratory commander, and 140th Wing personnel explain the exercise at Nellis AFB and how it fits into a larger scenario.
