    A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew rescued a man after his vessel ran aground near Sitka, Alaska, Aug. 29, 2020. Coast Guard watchstanders at the Sector Juneau command center received a distress call over VHF channel 16 at 10 p.m. Aug. 29 from the captain of 50-foot fishing vessel Saami stating the vessel had ran aground and was taking on water in the vicinity of Kulichof Rock. Watchstanders issued an urgent marine information broadcast and requested the launch of the helicopter crew from Air Station Sitka. U.S. Coast Guard courtesy video.
