U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Santosh Devkota, of the 69th Aerial Port Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Md., developed an offline passenger check-in database that expedites manual passenger check-in procedures during system or network outages. The new database reduces check-in time by 75%.
