Soldiers from Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force 7454-1 (UAMTF 7454-1) from San Antonio, Texas provide medical support to CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi – Shoreline in Corpus Christi, Texas, July 28, 2020. At the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, three 85-person U.S. Army Reserve UAMTFs deployed as part of the Department of Defense's ongoing COVID-19 operations in Texas. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to states in need as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-nation COVID-19 response.
