Soldiers from Fort Bragg, N.C. and elsewhere, assigned to Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force - 16, provide medical support at McAllen Medical Center, McAllen, Texas. The 85-member unit is the third of six UAMTFs deployed as part of the Department of Defense’s ongoing COVID-19 response efforts. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to states in need as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-nation COVID-19 response.
