While assigned to U.S. Navy Acute Care Team (ACT), Expeditionary Medical Facility – L (Lima), Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Matthew King discusses his experience while being deployed to Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas, July 22, 2020. The ACT, along with additional Naval medical resources, deployed from Pensacola, Fl., to Texas, July 20, 2020 to support COVID-19 response operations at civilian hospitals. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to states in need as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-nation COVID-19 response.
