The U.S. Coast Guard is getting a new Maritime Communication and Rescue Coordination System, call Rescue 21. It will help the USCG find the location faster when there is a May Day call for help. It should be in place by late 2006. Oct. 1, 2002. (U.S. Coast Guard video)
