U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, participate in an Expeditionary Advance Base Operations exercise at the Northern Training Area in Okinawa, Japan, June 17, 2020. 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment is currently with 3rd Marine Division under the Unit Deployment Program and led the exercise with participation from 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion and High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems from 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment.
