U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Jordan Darnauer, commander of the California Air National Guard's 144th Medical Detachment, discusses the efforts of 19 members responding to a need in Imperial Valley, California, for medical personnel due to an increased number of COVID-19 cases in the area. The personnel were requested through Imperial County's health operations area coordinator due to a need for more staff at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Brawley, California.
