Ronald Pipkins is believed to be "patient zero" for COVID-19 cases in the state of Nevada. He was put into a medically-induced coma to help his body fight off the infection. After more than a month in the hospital he was released back to his home, but is still in physical therapy from the trauma suffered from his fight.
This interview was used for a PSA for the State of Nevada Health Response.
