In 1982, Congress designated May 6 as National Nurses Day and in 1990, the American Nurse Association expanded the recognition to a week, May 6-12. This Nurses Week, Lt. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, chief of Army Reserve and commanding general, expresses his thanks to all nurses, but especially those in the U.S. Army Reserve who have responded to #COVID19.
