More than fifty members of the 130th Airlift Wing deployed in support Operation Freedom's Sentinel from McLaughlin Air National Guard Base, Charleston, W.Va. April 26, 2020. The deployment, which had been planned well in advance of the pandemic, had been in question due to travel restrictions designed to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 disease globally.
