200403-N-FQ994-001 SASEBO, Japan (April 3, 2020) Today’s Navy Fitness Sasebo COFIT-19 workout is a ‘Tabata’ or a form of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). It consists of eight rounds of high-intensity exercises in a 20-seconds-on and 10-seconds-off interval. The four movements today are in this order:
1. Right Leg - glute bridge
8 rounds - 20 seconds on - 10 sec off

8 rounds - 20 seconds on - 10 sec off

3. Russian twists
8 rounds - 20 seconds on - 10 sec off

I found this exercise to be pretty fast-paced, challenging, and honestly, I lost count a couple times. For one of the movements, I counted 11 rounds of exercise today after reviewing the footage. “Better more than less”, I say!
