NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (April 6, 2020) – Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 set up a Base-X tent in front of Naval Hospital Rota, Spain, April 6, 2020. The pre-staging area will assist medical personnel in screening and testing patients for COVID-19. NMCB 1 is forward-deployed to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 5th, 6th, and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
