The Alaska Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 297th Infantry Regiment returns from a nine-month long deployment to Kosovo April 4, 2020 at Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska. The deployment was in support of a NATO's Kosovo Force peacekeeping mission, which has existed for approximately 20 years. Due to the circumstance brought by COVID-19, when Soldiers returned, they met their families in the airport parking lot and were instructed to self-quarantine for 14 days. Run Time: 01:35.
