The Arizona Army National Guard State Surgeon, COL Tom Leeper, returns to the Navajo Nation with critical PPE on April 4, 2020. 1LT Tyler Detwiler, a nurse with the Medical Detachment, joins to assist in the delivery to maximize healthcare resources and conduct further medical facility assessments in Chinle, Ariz. 1LT Detwiler is also a trauma ICU nurse as his civilian occupation.
