Akau, a native of Waimānalo, Hawaii, is assigned to 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade. Exercise Cobra Gold 20 is the largest theater security cooperation exercise in the Indo-Pacific and is an integral part of the U.S. commitment to strengthen engagement in the region.
