KORAT, Thailand -- Sgt. Tyler Chrisman from the 2nd Batt., 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division stationed in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, is interviewed shortly after arrival in Korat, Thailand, February 18, 2020. Chrisman is taking part in Hanuman Guardian 20, an exercise in which 2,140 U.S. and Thai soldiers will share expertise, gain familiarization with diverse operation environments, garnish greater respect for host nation culture, and capabilities. It also fosters partner capacity and interoperability. Exercises such as Hanuman Guardian strengthen multinational military relationships, build readiness and demonstrate U.S. commitment to its allies and key regional partners, developing trained, ready and interoperable forces.
