The crew of the USCGC Stratton conducts various damage control and response drills throughout the ship as they transit across the Pacific in late October and early November 2019. The crew, many of whom are new, are practicing these skills to ready to respond in the event of a real emergency at sea. These include setting dog zebra to compartmentalize the ship and limit damage and flooding, to fire fighting, damage control, and managing medical emergencies.
