The 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, conducted a Fire Support Coordination Exercise that enabled fire integration across the Brigade and ensured Soldiers abilities to call in lethal effects on target at Pohakuloa Training Area on Hawaii Island. 2IBCT also executed a Fires Effects Demonstration that included a Mine Clearing Line Charge, Bangalore breach, 155mm howitzer fires, AH-64 Apache Helicopters providing close air support, and more. Junior leaders received up close and personal experience with fires effects to better equip them for today’s modern battlefield.
