Aircrew from the 4th Special Operations Squadron fly a training sortie on the AC-130U Spooky Gunship over Navarre, Florida, Nov. 4, 2019. During the sortie they fired 105mm, 40mm and 25mm rounds at targets to train and enhance their capabilities in preparation for deployments. The 4th SOS directly supports unified and theater special operations commands by conducting close air support, armed reconnaissance, and interdiction missions worldwide in support of Secretary of Defense taskings.
