When Senior Airman Phil Owens isn't working as a crew chief in the 192nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, he's flying tours of Acadia National Park in Maine. Just two weeks after starting this, his first commercial flying job, he experienced catastrophic engine failure and had to perform and emergency off-airport landing.
