Chief Master Sergeant Ramon “CZ” Colon-Lopez is the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for Headquarters U.S. Africa Command, (HQ U.S. AFRICOM). Chief Colon-Lopez enlisted in the United States Air Force in December 1990.

The next mandatory change listed on the timeline, to take place by June 1, 2020, will be for Airmen's boots, socks and T-shirts to be coyote brown. Also, officer ranks to the spice brown. Switching from two different types of utility uniforms to just one, multifunctional uniform could also simplify life for the Airmen.

Transition process improves through TAP refresh. The Transition Assistance Program received new curriculum and a slight makeover as of Oct. 1. Before, TAP could be accomplished no-later-than 89 days before a military member's separation date.
