Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst has two different water systems: groundwater treatment and surface water conventional treatment. Pride Industries is in charge of the surface water treatment plant where it has an approximate output of 600,000 gallons a day. The cleansing process is monitored by the 87th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron with regular weekly samples. Water is obtained from Rancocas Creek and streamlines through a 6-step cleansing process for all of Fort Dix.
