Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service trainees question suspects and inventory captured materials during an evidence collection and processing training event in Baghdad, Iraq Oct. 8, 2019. Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve trainers have been teaching students how to properly collect and document evidence after a tactical operation to feed future activities. These skills are basic policing capabilities that meet international standards and will help the students prosecute and find Daesh terrorists and other criminals. Military action will only take us so far, however, and the support we provide is only an enabler for future stabilization work. (U.S. Army video by Staff Sgt. Tom Conning)
