CPL Abel Villafranca, assigned to 1st Battalin, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, tanker, talk about his reason for joining, picking his job, and what his role is with supporting Atlantic Resolve in Riga, Latvia, Oct. 16, 2019. Atlantic Resolve is the largest movement of U.S. Army pieces of equipment at the Port of Riga. 1-9 CAV will be moving on to train with Lithuanian military partners in effort to build readiness, increase interoperability and enhance the bonds between ally and partner militaries through multinational training events.
