U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (Miss.) established the week of Sept. 22-29, 2019 as “Gold Star Families Remembrance Week."
The week is aimed at honoring the Families of fallen Service Members.

Carolyn Hicks is a Gold Star Mother whose son was killed at the Pentagon during the 9/11 terror attacks.
