Joint base West Virginia hosted the CBOA 2019 event, where a variety of companies present new technology created for chemical warfare environments. These products are assessed by actual war-fighters in a realistic combat scenario, including; room clearings, decontamination of a soldier, and chemical attacks while under fire. The assessment event was comprised of varying service branches, including the 101st Airborne, Marine Recon, and representatives from Naval Explosive Ordinance Disposal.
