Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Tezanos (WPC-1118) crew members assist the Barbados Defense Force Field Medical Facility team members in disembarking a field medical hospital, equipment and supplies during TRADEWINDS June 20, 2019. The Tezanos safely transported over 20 tons in personnel, medical equipment, and supplies from Saint Vincent and Grenadines to Barbados. In its 35th year, 22 nations participated in U.S. Southern Command’s 2019 TRADEWINDS Exercise, which promoted regional security, as well as, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts between nations.
