U.S. Marine and civilian combat illustrators with the Combat Art Program create various pieces of combat-sketch art of U.S. Marines and U.S. Sailors attached to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Central Command, June 13, 2019. The Marine Corps Combat Art Program traces its origins to 1942 with the mission of keeping Americans informed about what Marines are doing at home and overseas.
