A U.S. Air Force C-130 aircraft drops several container delivery systems using Low Cost Low Velocity parachutes at 800 feet to provide equipment for base defense to Soldiers of 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment on June 17, 2019, at Cincu, Romania. The infantrymen used the supplies to establish defensive battle positions while preparing for a simulated attack by the Romanian army in during a force-on-force training exercise. Saber Guardian 2019 is an exercise co-led by Romanian Land Forces and U.S. Army Europe, taking place from June 3-24, to enhance joint and combined interoperability across a variety of mission sets between Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, the U.S. NATO allies and Partnership for Peace Nations.
