Soldiers of the Idaho Army National Guard's 145th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team, convoy to their positions at the National Training Center Fort Irwin, Calif. May 31, 2019. During their convoy, Soldiers in the 158th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion of the Arizona Army National Guard came under fire from the acting opposing forces.
The 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team is training at the NTC May 24 - June 20 to prepare for its wartime mission. The rotation builds unit and Soldier proficiency to provide combatant commanders with a trained and ready force capable of fighting and winning our nation's wars.
