U.S. Coast Guard District 7     

The crew of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Thetis (WMEC-910) conducted a 3-month deployment ins support of U.S. Africa Command and U.S. 6th Fleet operations with partner maritime nations along the West African Coast. The Thetis crew conducted joint training for law enforcement, maritime safety and security, and maintenance operations with naval personnel from Cabo Verde, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire and São Tomé & Príncipe to continue to build and strengthen partnerships between those maritime nations and the United States.
