AIRMAN FIRST CLASS JAMES DEMARQUE, 136TH MAINTENANCE SQUADRON CREW CHIEF, COMPETED IN THE P-G-A CHARLES SCHWAB CHALLENGE IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS ON MAY 22ND 2019. JAMES, FILLING THE POSITION PREVIOUSLY HELD IN THE TEAM-BASED TOURNAMENT BY HIS FATHER, LIEUTENANT COLONEL CHARLES DEMARQUE, 181ST AIRLIFT SQUADRON COMMANDER, TELLS US HOW IT FEELS TO COMPETE.

“I’ve grown up playing, my grandpa played. He was a fighter pilot. Grew up kind of playing around him and my Dad. Oh it’s an honor, being able to show myself and represent everybody back home. Just hope I’m doing it well.”
