U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 7, and U.S. Airmen with 3rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, participated in exercise Northern Edge (NE) May 13-24, 2019 at Fort Greely, Alaska. Approximately 10,000 U.S. military personnel participated in exercise NE 2019, a joint training exercise hosted by U.S. Pacific Air Forces that prepares joint forces to respond to crises in the Indo-Pacific region. Exercise Northern Edge 2019 provides the two MEFs assigned to the Indo-Pacific region an opportunity to exercise joint operations and engagement in the region.(U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt.
