Military children make up a very special part of our nation's population. Although young, these brave sons and daughters stand in steadfast support of their military parents through moves and deployments. April is designated as the Month of the Military Child, underscoring the important role military children play in the armed forces community. Sgt. James Wade, a training non-commissioned officer, Marine Corps Logistics Command, said his daughter, like many other children make sacrifices for their parents. The Child Development Center is instrumental is helping children adjust to the installation and ensuring they receive development skills. CDC Pre-K teacher, Elizabeth Wallace, and Program Assistant teacher, Eugenia Cheeks, provide children quality services to help them succeed in the mobile military lifestyle. To applaud their sacrifices, CDC Director, Kia Bush, held an annual parade and proclamation, April 12. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Re-Essa Buckels)
