The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Demonstration Team headlined The 2019 Wings over Wayne Air and Space Exposition on 27-28 April 2019 at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Aviation demonstrations included the F-35A Raptor Demonstration Team, a C-17 Globemaster, The U.S. Army Black Daggers Parachute Team, and a Combined Arms Demonstration, the F-15E Strike Eagle, KC-135R Stratotanker, and A-10 Warthog. The weekend-long event intended to welcome the public, showcase base capabilities and inspire community members was made possible with the efforts of over 2,000 key staff personnel, EMS, and volunteers from the team Seymour community.
