Fort Benning and the Maneuver Center of Excellence held a “Dawn Service” at the National Infantry Museum, commemorating Australian and New Zealand Army Corps Day.
Each year on April 25th, the Fort Benning community gather at the 173rd Airborne Memorial to lay wreaths and honor the ANZAC Soldiers who lost their lives fighting the Ottoman Empire.
It is the only memorial in the country that contains the names of ANZAC Soldiers.
This day serves as a reminder to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice on April 25th, 1915.
